Michèle TASSI works in various mediums : sculptures, paintings, acrylic, mixed technique on canvas, ink on paper. This diversity is at the origin of works that embody a process of evolution.
Her work is structured around thematic series. Among these, her paintings on the city, entitled «Metaphor of the silence», plunge into an exploration of silence and mystery. Michèle Tassi sets up a dialogue between what is visible and what remains to be discovered. The link with an immaterial world between earth and sky engendering a kind of silence of movement.
The mystery that emanates from her creations continues through new series, which revisit themes already explored in sculpture, like the body.
Through her art, Michèle Tassi invites us to a deep reflection on the place of the individual in the universe, the dynamics of movement and the interaction between the visible and the invisible.

I invite the gaze to go beyond simple figuration to question essential notions such as place and freedom of movement. The silhouettes, melt in transparency into an indefinite space, woven by the very material of the canvas.
Through these representations, I explore the harmony between feminine and masculine, when these two forces live their completeness. This evokes a dynamic expression of inner and outer movement, revealing the moving nature of the body and thought.
This duality highlights the ambivalence of their power and vulnerability, creating a dialogue between strength and fragility. The body moves in space and transcends it, embodying a fragile balance that reflects a movement of the mind.
It is in these moments of creation and re-creation that spaces of opening and awakening are drawn, thus releasing the gesture and the impulse of the moment
