«The crossing» is an introspective series born during the lockdown periods of 2020, 2021. These works explore the movement of the human body in darkness, capturing fleeting moments of dance and connection.
Each painting represents a journey through space, time and emotions.
The ethereal silhouettes emerge from dark backgrounds, like apparitions in the night, evoking both the isolation experienced during this period and the deep desire for movement and freedom, an atmosphere where the body seems to float between two worlds.
