Michèle TASSI is an artist, whose career testifies to her passion for creation.
In parallel with her career in cinema, advertising and television, she has been able to develop a personal artistic approach, exploring various disciplines such as sculpture, painting and visual arts.
Her collaboration with influential artists, such as the sculptor Alberto Carlinski and the Brazilian Jaildo Marinho, was instrumental in her evolution as a sculptress, allowing her to experiment with new materials and techniques, including arc welding.
However, her meeting with the painter Christian Zeimert truly redefined her artistic path, orienting her towards painting.
Her works, notably those inspired by her trip to New York, such as «Metaphor of the silence», invite us to a reflection on the perception of silence and mystery.
She manages to establish a subtle dialogue between the visible and the invisible, and what hides behind the surface, thus creating a unique atmosphere in her creations.
The themes that follow, and which she explores "the body and movement" are also very evocative.
Titles like 'Memory mist', 'The crossing', 'Imprint', 'Flight', ... demonstrate her ability to explore complex concepts through a unique pictorial approach. Her technique, combining acrylic and oil, plays on transparency, giving her works an almost ethereal dimension.
Exchanges with other artists, such as Roland Buraud, enrich her practice and allow her to refine his artistic research.
She exhibits in galleries and salons, in France and internationally.
